Below you will find the tryout routine videos your athlete must learn, as well as the tryout packet for the 2020-2021 Season for ICE Allstars. You will notice we have removed try out dates as each location will hold tryouts based on the recommendations of the CDC and state guidelines. In the meantime, we will be holding parent meetings online to help answer new parent questions as well as returning parent questions regarding the upcoming season. Gym managers will be sending out links/details on when/how those will be held virtually. We are also planning on continuing virtual classes for the month of May as well as clinics (when we can open).

We are hoping tryouts can be held towards the end of May/June. We do want to allow our athletes time to get back into the gym and work on skills prior to tryouts. We would love to give our athletes at least 3 weeks back in the gym prior to holding tryouts for the season to give them ample time to feel comfortable and confident going into tryouts. Current registration is set for the week of May 18th – 24th but those dates, of course, are subject to change.

Registration is available by clicking the “Enroll Now” button on our website. If tryout dates need to be adjusted, we will adjust your current online registration so there is no need to register again once you have registered. We look forward to a strong and healthy 2020-2021 Season!

Tryouts are fast approaching!

We’re so excited to get back in the gym with you as soon as possible to begin our new season! Please find your level-appropriate tryout routine below to learn and perform for us at tryouts. It’s really important to make sure you can do all skills cleanly in the routine so we can place you correctly this season. We’re more than happy to help to make sure everyone is prepared for tryouts and the start of a great season at ICE Michigan!
Please remember that tryout dates are tentative given the current situation. Dates are subject to change based on the recommendations of the government as we move forward. We appreciate you all being so understanding during this time, we are all eager to get back to the gym!

Half Year Tiny Program
Practice 1 day per week for 1 hour.
1/2 Year Prep Team
Practice 1 day per week for 1 hour. Perform at 3 local performances during the year.

Full Year Prep Team

Performs at the ICE Showcase and competes at 4 local competitions throughout the season in the prep team category. Practices 2 hours, 2 times a week with no weekend practice times.

Local, Semi-Travel, and Full Travel Teams

Summer: 2-2 hour practices per week

Fall/Winter/Spring: 2-3 hour practices per week (It may be a weekend practice)

World Teams

Summer: 2-3 hour practices per week.
Fall/Winter/Spring: 3 hour practices per week. (It will be a weekend practice)

Quarter Season Team

Competition Cheer Teams are for athletes ages 3 to 18 years old who have a desire to perform and compete! Teams range in skill level from Tiny to Senior teams. We offer Full Year Competition and Prep teams as well as Half Year Prep Team options. ICE Coaches focus on teaching teamwork, good sportsmanship, and commitment while having fun!
